“Keiki Kupuna is a program designed to address the problem of loneliness in Maui’s seniors.  It was created by the CARDEN MINDREAPERS as a pilot project with the seniors of Roselani Place in Kahului, Maui.  The program matches volunteer Keiki and lonely seniors, with the hope of decreasing their loneliness through long term friendships.   The keiki will introduce their senior partner to modern technology so the seniors can re-connect with loved ones, family and friends.
